This painting is a call to myself. A call to all believers. A call to abide. A call to remain. A call to give Him our first fruits of our time. Give us this day our daily bread. Jesus said that “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God”. Matthew 4:4. In order to be living off those words we have to be spending time in the Bible, getting to know the Lord. Learning to recognize His voice. Learning to decipher truth from a lie. We need His words more than anything else.
 
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
