When I was a little girl, we would read the Bible as part of our homeschool day. One year I remember we were learning Psalm 139 and my bonus Mom found these amazing coloring pages. Each page had a visual representation of the portion of the verse for that day. It was so impactful for me to see the verses come to life like that in a visual way. I need to see things sometimes to understand.
That is why I created this painting. I want Psalms 139 to stick with you the way it did me. I want you to see and understand how deeply loved and cared for you are. How precious your children are. We have this amazing living God who took so much love and care to create us each intricately and individually.
You were created with purpose for a purpose. And maybe you don’t know what that is. I pray this painting causes you to stop and think. To ponder what that might be.
I pray this painting conveys in some small way the sanctity of life. That from the very first moment you were conceived a life was formed. Not a blob of flesh or a clump of cells but a precious life.
